Greetings, I am Michael, your tutor and the founder of Tchaikovsky in a Box. Originally from California, USA, I moved to the UK at the age of 11 to further my education. As a native speaker, I am pleased to offer my assistance with both American and British accents.

 

I received my Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Music from Durham University after graduating from Rugby School. Furthermore, I am scheduled to receive my international Post Graduate Certificate of Education from Sheffield University in June 2023.

 

Apart from my love for music history and composing, I enjoy exploring the world and learning new languages. I am fluent in several languages such as Russian, French, Spanish and German, aside from English which is my native tongue. At the moment, I teach Music, English and French to primary school classes in Spain, and I am planning to pursue a Master's Degree in Multilingual Education next year.

 

My passion for learning and teaching languages has led me to realize that the most effective way to learn a language is through your favourite hobby or activity. Hence, whether your interest is in music, sports, cooking, theatre, dance, or anything else, let us create a syllabus that makes learning enjoyable!
